The NBA season is officially in full swing. The season is a highly anticipated event for basketball fans around the world. During the season, 29 teams from all over the United States (and 1 from Canada) compete against each other for the best record. Most teams have played 10-12 games, but that’s still far from the end of the regular season. There are many outstanding teams, but only one stands undefeated: the Cleveland Cavaliers. The teams play 82 games in the regular season, and only the best teams make it to the playoffs. If they win in the playoffs, they advance to the Finals. Only one team will come out on top, and whoever that is will be crowned the greatest. So we went around and asked people, “Who do you think will win the NBA Finals?”
Mr. Gates – “Celtics, because they won last year and have almost the same team.”
Ezra Dohner – “Celtics, because they are better than they were last year, and they won last year.”
Kal Brown – “Thunder, because they are too good.”
Clayton McClure – “Celtics, because they won last year and are one of the best teams in the NBA.”
Nohl Bluiner – “Mavericks, because they have Luka.”
Jarek Klaus – “Celtics, because they have Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.”
Mr. Bayer – “I do not care.”
Brady Leman – “Celtics, because Ezra says they’re gonna win.”
Beni Schrock – “The Suns, because I do not know any other teams.”
Mr. Heider – “Boston, because they are the best as a team.”
Abram Funderburk – “The Timberwolves, because they are my favorite team.”
Luke Spangler – “Golden State, because of Stephen Curry.”
