Mrs. Hobbs
Today we interviewed Mrs. Hobbs, one of the 8th-grade ELA teachers, and this is what she had to say!
- What do you like most about teaching ELA?
I like the discussions and everyone’s opinions on what we read. - What is your favorite book to read and why?
Never Let Me Go because it’s an emotional dystopian book. - What are you most excited about for being a mom?
Just holding my baby for the first time. - If you were an ice cream flavor, what would you be?
Mint chocolate chip because I’m fresh and decadent. - If you had to wear one color for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Green, probably, because there are so many shades. - What is a fun fact about you that not a lot of people know?
I married my high school sweetheart. - How long have you been teaching at EMS?
This is my 6th year. - If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Italy because of the food and the views. - What would you do with one million dollars?
Buy a new house and car, purchase beach property, get more dogs, and hire a personal chef. - If you could do anything other than teach, what would you do?
An event planner. - Would you rather be face-to-face with a lion or a giraffe?
A giraffe because then I would be tall. - Would you rather be deaf or blind, and why?
Blind because I have already seen a lot, so I can picture it in my head. - What would your last meal be?
Pasta, bread, and dessert. - What is your favorite part about working in Eureka?
Seeing someone I know when I’m out; it feels cozy.
