The 2nd most popular candy to give out on hollowing is Starburst the brand name of a box-shaped, fruit-flavored soft taffy candy manufactured by The Wrigley Company, which is a subsidiary of Mars, Incorporated. The final and 3rd Sour Patch Kids are a brand of soft candy with a coating of inverted sugar and sour sugar. The tartaric and citric acids provide the candy with a sharp burst of tartness, while the inverted sugar gives the soft gummy its sweet flavor. We asked 11 students at EMS what their favorite candy to receive on hollowing and here are their answers.
Easton Hadfield said, “Skittles cause there good.”
Abram Funderburk quickly said, “Skittles because I love tasting the rainbow.”
Dierks Dingledine said, “Recess pieces because there good I love the butter taste.”
Hillel said, “Skittles because they are good and they come in every size for everyone and are very good and tasted.”
Alyssa Lheman had to think about her answer for a minute but then said, “Dum dum because they’re good .”
Levi Royer was confused at first but then said, “Skittles because I hate chocolate.”
Brady Thompson quickly said, “Skittles because I like to taste the rainbow.”
Lainey Adams confusly said, “Twix because it’s my favorite candy.”
Sawyer Schmidt took a little bit but then said, “Skittles because they taste good.”
Abby Cochran said, ”My favorite recess because it’s good.”
Camden Adair said, “Hershes because they are delicious.”
