Teacher Spotlight- Mr. Holt
Mr. Holt is the new vice principal. He is married with three kids. And we are interviewing him to welcome him to the new district.
- If you could be any age for the rest of your life, what would it be? 30 or 20s, because of independence and limited responsibilities! Freedom of adventure.
- Describe your perfect day. Cup of coffee, go for a ride on my bike, hang out with my family, cook some good food, and watch some sports.
- What’s a movie you could watch every day? Gladiator, because it has great action and a great soundtrack.
- Do you have a favorite memory? Exploring and traveling to different places. For example, we went to the south of France.
- What’s your favorite sport to watch? – Soccer
- What’s your dream career? Composing music for movies.
- Which unconventional animal do you wish you could have as a pet? – A pot belly pig.
- If you could make up a sport, what would it be? – A mix between soccer and rugby.
- Out of the four seasons, what’s your favorite one? – Fall, because cooler weather, fires, and looking ahead to the holiday season.
- Where would you relocate if you were forced to leave the country? -Italy, because they have great food, amazing scenery, and great history.
- Who is your all-time favorite Disney character? Eeyore, because his take on life makes me laugh.
- What’s the worst color that was ever invented?- Brown, because it’s brown.
- What would you be if you had to wear one Halloween costume every day for the rest of your life?A smore, because they taste so good.
- If you had a million dollars, what would you spend it on? – I’d invest in Manchester United (they need some help!), a vacation to Italy, and give the rest away!
- What was your favorite childhood book? Famous Five is about a group of kids who solve mysteries.
- If any of the jobs were open at Ems, would you still stay as vice principal—yes, or maybe a cook.
