Things that Students Want to Change About EMS

There are many good things about this school, but there can always be more. So, we asked what changes the students at EMS would like to see.

8th grade:

  • Brett Zeltwanger: I would like to see a buzzer on the backboard in the gym and better snack options at lunch.
  • Moses Dohner: I would like to have improved boys’ locker rooms.
  • Enlee Wiegand: NO MORE REDUCED-FAT CHIPS!
  • Hudysn Shertz: I wish the colors of the walls in the gym were different 🙂

7th grade:

  • Mary Ulrich: TRAMPOLINE PARK!
  • Cooper Gerdes: Equal locker rooms.
  • Sidney Ebbs: Bigger lockers.
  • Jack Sceggel: Better bathrooms for everyone.

6th grade:

  • Chuck Dunbar: Longer lunch and recess period.
  • Dierks Dingledine: NO MORE REDUCED-FAT CHIPS!
  • Kal Brown: New recess equipment.
  • Logan Rittenhouse: I would like to have game time after finishing homework so nobody gets bored.

5th grade:

  • Preston Fuller: More recess time.
  • Lily Taylor: Get more playground equipment.
  • Karsen Cheek: No more bullying.
  • Libby Lehman: Make school more fun!

Staff:

  • Mrs. Johnson: 4-day school weeks.
  • Mr. Schaidle: Less reliance on technology.
  • Mr. Gundy: Every student would come to school willing to try.

Predictably all 5th-grade teachers:

  • WINDOWS!
