I asked a few people about these two chocolates to get their opinions.
Butterfinger is a crispety-crunchety candy bar featuring a flaky peanut butter center covered in chocolate. It was created around 1923 to 1926 by Otto Schnering at the Chicago-based Curtiss Candy Company. The name came from a 1920s sports contest. Nestlé acquired the brand in 1990, and it was later sold to Ferrara Candy Company, a Ferrero subsidiary, in 2018.
The Milky Way candy bar was created by Frank C. Mars in 1923 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It was designed to capture the taste of popular malted milkshakes. As the first “filled” candy bar, it became an instant hit for Mars, Incorporated. It features a mix of malted nougat, caramel, and milk chocolate and quickly became the company’s flagship product.
