Snow and rain are two very different things. Rain mostly comes in the spring, but it can occur in other seasons too. Snow only comes in the winter and is very cold. Both rain and snow might cancel your plans, but they both go away at some point. You can do special activities in the snow, but you’re out of luck when it comes to rain. Some people don’t mind light rain and continue doing what they normally would. Snow stacks up, but rain just absorbs into the ground.
Here are some people’s opinions on whether rain or snow is better:
Peter Blunier: Though I enjoy the murky mood rain creates, I enjoy snow more because, for me, it always sends a positive feeling coursing through me. It also looks nice to see everything covered in white. Rain creates mud, and I don’t enjoy that nearly as much as snowball fights. Even if it’s not packing snow, it’s still satisfying to hear that crunch under your feet at certain times of the year.
Milo Stalter: Snow, because it is fun to play in.
Solo Mooney: Snow, because it’s fun to play in.
Aaron Stoller: Snow, because you can’t really be outside in the rain.
Josiah Steffen: Snow, because I can make money from plowing.
Titus Knapp: Snow, because then I can go out and plow it.
