What is your favorite sport and why?
Volleyball! It’s super team-oriented, and I used to play on a summer team as a libero. I like how cool it is to make an awesome save based just on reflexes.
What is your favorite book and why?
One of Us Is Lying. They took a used concept and turned it into something totally different… but I can see why it’s definitely not made for kids.
What is your favorite animal and why?
A lynx. I don’t know — they’re just really cool.
What do you do outside of school and why?
Outside of school, I play volleyball and do karate because I like sports. I also write music and play a few different instruments.
Are you a morning or night person and why?
Night. There are fewer people around, and it’s just free time.
What is your dream vacation and why?
My dream vacation would be to go to Rome or Athens on a study trip to learn about architecture, or to Japan to visit the place that inspired Haikyuu!!
What is the funniest thing you’ve ever done and why?
I don’t know — I can’t think of anything.
What is your favorite food and why?
I like all the pasta dishes that I make because I’m actually a really good cook.
What’s your favorite movie and why?
My favorite movie is The Purge: Anarchy (the second movie in the series) because I like horror movies that are more dystopian — the kind that feel like they could happen in real life.
What’s your favorite teacher in 8th grade and why?
My favorite teacher is Miss Haggerty (I’m not sure how to spell it) because she’s really cool, energetic, and fun. I also like Mr. Profit because he’s funny, and I’ll be stuck with him half the summer for marching band.
