Ranch, mustard, and ketchup are all really good sauces that are used with meat. However, they have different tastes.
I asked some students what their number one choice would be:
Carson Harn: “If I had to pick, I’d choose ketchup because it tastes better than mustard. Plus, I only like ranch on my tacos.”
Sadie Hoffman: “Ketchup. Ranch is nasty. One time, my sister thought she had COVID, but she didn’t know. Since when you have COVID you can’t taste anything, my dad told her to have a spoonful of mustard. She didn’t want to because she doesn’t like mustard, but me being the good sister I am, told her I would eat a spoonful of mustard with her. I knew I didn’t have COVID. We counted down—I ate the mustard, my sister ate the mustard. It was the worst-tasting thing ever. Turns out she had COVID and couldn’t taste the mustard. So I ate a spoonful of mustard for nothing.”
