This week, we are writing about a massive debate: the cat mask vs. the Nike shiesty. The Nike shiesty was made for cold-weather performance and was not an original idea. The cat mask, however, is a funny and creative spin on the original ski mask. All the cool kids are wearing cat masks, and hardly anyone wears a Nike shiesty anymore. A Nike shiesty will run you about $45, but a cat mask will only cost around $6–7 (I’m not joking—that is actually what it costs). We interviewed 10 people, and here are their responses:
Jason Garnant:
“Cat masks are easily the best. Love you, Corben.”
Drew Sauder:
“Nike shiesty.”
Mr. Wear:
“I’d rather have that than a cat mask.” (Nike shiesty)
Forrest Henry:
“Cat masks, supporting my boy Corb (he’s straight outta Kirkland).”
Maxwell “Maddog” William Brown:
“Probably the cat shiesties because they’re cool and Cobrob1 wears one. But I think both are tough because Drew wears the regular ones to our games, and he’s straight from da hood.”
Caleb Strawn:
“I think the cat shiesties are cool because BunnyEdits15 wears one.”
Ethan Otto:
“I like the cat ones, and I agree with Maxwell William Brown. They look super cool, and the regular ones make you look like you’re from the hood, which Drew is straight outta. Corben wears the cat masks, and he looks nice with it.”
Hunter “BigWurm04” Wurmnest:
“Cat shiesties. I have a matching one with Corben, and only YNs wear Nike shiesties.”
Abram Jayshawn Funderburk:
“Ur weird.” (Spelled wrong, by the way.)
Colin Risk:
“Obviously Nike shiestys because they are tough.”
Final Vote
Cat Mask: 6
Nike Shiesty: 3
