Beaches are relaxing areas and fun for children! Beach sand can be different colors, too. Mountains are great for hiking, and it gets colder as you go higher. We asked a few people for their opinions on beaches and mountains.
Here are their responses:
Brynley Schieler: “Beaches, because I like swimming, and the sand feels good on my feet.”
Rigg Stoller: “Although I like both, I would have to say beaches because they are warmer.”
Mrs. Bishop: “I like mountains at the beach, like in Oregon! 🙂 It’s so stunningly beautiful!”
Mrs. Hobbs: “I think beaches are better because they are more easily accessible. Once you’re in the mountains, you’re stuck—plus, the roads are all windy! However, you can easily go on a day trip to a beach and then head back to wherever you came from. The overall vibe of the beach is my favorite! Salty air, cold water, and warm sand—what could be better than that?”
Mrs. Straub: “Mountains. I love to hike, and mountains are the best place to do that. Mountains are breathtaking! Because I live in the Midwest, I’m used to flat land and beaches, which makes experiencing the mountains especially exciting.”
Titus Knapp: “I like mountains better because you have to work hard to reach the view.”
Hailey Zimmerman: “Beaches, because they are more calming.”
William Maynor: Beaches because they are hot and are next to water
