8th Grade Girls Basketball

Girls basketball is halfway through their season. They are having lots of fun and building great friendships along with a stronger team. We asked the whole 8th grade girls basketball team some questions, and these were their answers:

Ava Wiegand

1. My favorite part about this season is winning close games like beating Washington Middle.

2. To not foul a lot and to shoot more.

3. To win more games right now and to get farther in the postseason.

4. Being with the team and winning more games.

5. The bus rides and cheering on the 7th graders.

Brylie Prina

1. My favorite part of this season so far was beating Washington Middle.

2. One of my goals is to get fewer fouls.

3. To win a regional and maybe a sectional.

4. I am looking forward to playing with my friends in a sport I love.

5. My best memory has been bus rides with friends.

1. My favorite part was probably hanging out with my friends and playing basketball.

2. One of my goals is to play good defense and be an impact on my team.

3. One of our team goals this year is to push the ball up the court on a fast break because we are a fast team.

4. I am looking forward to hanging out with friends and regionals.

5. When the 8th graders last year went to state and I got to hang out with my friends a lot during that time.
