To most students, teachers are just ordinary people at school who talk about the subjects they teach. On the surface, they may not seem like they have much else going on, but we asked five teachers here at EMS to prove that wrong. Each teacher was asked to share the most extraordinary thing they’ve accomplished in their life. Here are their responses:
Mr. Schaidle: “I’d say my teaching career. My family wasn’t big into education.”
Mr. Troutt: “Being married for thirty years.”
Mrs. Hobbs: “Living in Costa Rica for 3 months and attending all Spanish classes in college. Also, I learned a made-up language called Ubbi Dubbi.”
Mrs. Bradford: “I swam in a lake growing up that had stingrays, piranhas, electric eels, and camions for two years. And I survived!”
Mr. Gundy: “I went to Israel and toured it for 3 weeks.”
Thanks for reading! What’s something crazy you’ve accomplished?
