Do We Take Our Legs And Arms For Granted?

Do We Take Our Legs And Arms For Granted?

Did you know that our legs contain more than half of the body’s bones? Our arms have a remarkable range of motion. Just imagine how many times we use our legs or arms. I bet it’s a lot. We all take our arms and legs for granted. When you take things for granted, you usually don’t even realize it before they’re gone. In this poll, please give your honest opinion about which body part you would give up: arms or legs. We also interviewed an 8th-grade teacher and two 8th-grade students.

Emmie Edwards: “Lose your arms because I keep forgetting where to put them for the dance team. It would definitely be easier if I didn’t have any arms. I could also learn to do things with my legs.”

Mr. Gundy: “Both of my legs because I would still be able to play guitar and still eat. I can use a wheelchair to get around.”

Aliyah Bale: “My arms because I keep striking out in softball. And I keep getting hurt on my arm.”

This poll has ended.

Which one would you give up?
