If a Day of the Week had a Color, What Color Would it Be?

The color Red is the first color a baby sees. Some languages describe color and shades differently. Colors are all around us, but wouldn’t it be cool to give the weekdays their own color? That’s what we asked five 8th graders and two teachers, and this is what they said:

Travis Adams – “Monday is black because Mondays are bad.”

Honey Brown – “Friday is green because it’s everyone’s favorite day and it’s always a good day.”

Hannah Jones – “Monday is blue because Mondays are sad.”

Ella Moreland – “Friday is navy blue because I’m thinking about joining the Navy SEALs.”

Aliyah Bale – “Monday is blue because it’s the saddest day of all.”

Mrs. Bradford – “Friday is yellow because Fridays are happy.”

Mr. Troutt – “Thursday is purple because purple is my favorite color, and Thursday is always good since it’s almost Friday.

I hope you enjoyed reading this article. Have a colorful day!
