There are 195 countries in the world, according to Worldometers.info. We decided to ask EMS students about their favorite countries. This could be based on where they would like to live, visit, or even countries they admire for sports. Obviously, the United States doesn’t qualify as a favorite since we are fortunate to live here, and it would be too predictable of an answer. We asked 20 EMS students, “What is your favorite country, besides the USA, and why?”

  • Stella Wilson – Greece – “The geography is pretty.”
  • Davin Dingeldine – Philippines – “My dad was a missionary there for a while.”
  • Conner Knapp – Mongolia – “The food and unique culture.”
  • Sam Miller – Germany – “Good food and history.”
  • Franny Burn – Italy – “The food is delectable.”
  • Cayden Fogo – Ireland – “Historical figures are still prominent, making it look awesome.”
  • Savannah Henderson – Spain – “Seems like a great place to visit.”
  • Flanary – Ireland – “My family’s origin, would love to visit.”
  • Bryleigh Brace – Dominican Republic – “They have a fun culture.”
  • Levi Gerber – Bahamas – “It’s exotic.”
