We interviewed some of Eureka’s best wrestlers to see how their seasons are going so far and what their predictions are after regional day. We asked Coach Schaidle a question because it is his last season as a wrestling coach and the 8th-grade science teacher.
The questions we asked the wrestlers were: What do you think you made it to, regionals, sectionals, or state?
How many pounds do you think you will gain after the first week of your season ending?
How do you think next year’s team will be without Schaidle?
Questions for Schaidle: How are you feeling about your last season as a coach?
Finn Hoffman: He said that he will probably gain 15 pounds after his season ends and that he believes that he will make it to state. Also, he believes that the team will be good because Coach Kade will be the head coach.
Hank Wettstein: He said that he will gain 10 pounds after his season ends and that he hopes to go to state. Also, he thinks that the team will be well-conditioned because that’s what Coach Kade does.
Peyton Henderson: Peyton thinks he will make it to state. He said he thinks he will gain 5 pounds after the first week. Also, he thinks that this might be organized, but it will be a learning experience for the next head coach.
Jaxon Klaus: He thinks he will make it to state if he wrestles to his best ability and thinks he will gain 15 pounds after state.
Coach Schaidle: He said he felt like it was good and he could have done some things better. He will be sad when it’s over.
Can we all say goodbye to one of the best coaches EMS has ever seen? It is sad to see him go, so can we all say goodbye to Mr. Schaidle?
