We wanted an 8th grader to be interviewed at the EMS. We chose Alyssa Hitchins, because we thought she would have good answers to these questions. She did. Here are Alyssa’s answers.
- Best restaurant in Eureka?
She said briefly, “Subway.”
- Where would you want to live in the world for the rest of your life?
Alyssa chose, “Florida probably.”
- What is one food you would eat the rest of your life?
Alyssa originally chose “Chinese food,” but specifically decided on “Orange Chicken”!
- What school activities did you participate in this year?
She participated in “Cross Country.”
- Who is your favorite teacher you’ve ever had?
She thought “Mrs. King” was her favorite.
- If you had an hour of free time, what would you do?
She answered with a common response, “Read a book.”
- Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Alyssa said, “Maybe in college.”
- Would you rather work independently or on a team?
She exclaimed, “On a team!”
- What’s your favorite flavor of Gatorade?
“Red” (Fruit Punch) is what she likes most.
- If you could buy a planet in our solar system for free (not Earth), which one would you choose?
She chose “Saturn” over all the options.
