For this week’s Hornet Spotlight, we chose Mrs. Weaver.

When asked, “Do you enjoy being a teacher?”, she answered, “Yes.”

When asked, “If you could teach any other grade, which grade would you teach?”, she answered, “I don’t know, maybe 8th grade because it would be interesting to see how kids change from 7th to 8th grade.”

When asked, “If you could have any other job, what would it be?”, she answered, “Maybe an author. I think that would be really cool to be a famous author.”

When asked, “What is your favorite book?”, she answered, “Oh my gosh, that’s a really hard question. My favorite book in the whole world!? My favorite book I’ve read recently is Circe by Madeline Miller.”

When asked, “What is your favorite movie?”, she answered, “Man, this is really hard. Let’s just say Shawshank Redemption.”

When asked, “What is your favorite TV show?”, she answered, “Hard questions. Gilmore Girls.”

When asked, “What is your favorite ELA unit?”, she answered, “Probably the dystopian unit.”

When asked, “If you could have any superpower in the world, what would it be?”, she answered, “To function at 100% without sleeping. To not need sleep.”
