As I’m sure most of you probably know, there have been some very strange things happening around our middle school lately. For example, the drinking fountain in the library has not been working lately. Why do you think this is? We asked some students some questions about their opinions on the matter of their strange experiences. The questions we asked each person were:
#1. What is the strangest thing that has happened to you at EMS?
#2. Was your first time coming to EMS strange to you?
#3. What is the strangest thing that has happened to you outside of EMS?
Here are their answers:
Noah Stokowski:
- “The day I saw Sam Snyders’ Russian man cardboard cut out in locker.”
- “Yes, because I was homeschooled beforehand, so I had no idea what was going on.”
- “Late-night talks with friends.”
Asher Wegner:
- “A couple years back, people were throwing toads at the baseball fence.”
- “Yes, because I had never met the Goodfield and Congerville students.”
- “My friends’ sleepover birthday parties.”
Eli Sliger:
- “I slipped and fell really hard on my back in the hallway, but when I felt the ground, it wasn’t slippery.”
- “Not really because I already had a lot of friends.”
- “One time when I was sleeping by our Christmas tree, I woke up in the middle of the night and saw two figures outside our window.”
Trevor Schrock:
- “My first time in the locker room.”
- “It’s been pretty normal.”
- “At basketball practice when my friend shot it, bricked it, and it stayed on the back of the rim.”
