The volleyball season is starting soon, so we decided to interview some of our players about their season. We interviewed Lucy Maske and Kyleigh Nasti from the seventh grade team, as well as Katelyn Brugger from the eighth grade team.
We asked Katelyn Brugger, “How do you think volleyball has affected your life?” She answered quickly, saying, “It makes me have more perseverance and meet new friends.” The next question we asked her was, “What position do you play in volleyball?” She answered quickly, saying, “Setter, right side, bench.” Another question we asked was, “Why did you start playing volleyball?” Her answer to that was, “All my best friends do it.” When we asked her how her teammates would describe her as a volleyball player, she had a great answer: “Nice, fun, a great bench buddy, and a pretty average player.” The fifth question we asked was, “What game was your favorite to play?” She took a moment to think and then said, “The green and white scrimmage.” When we asked her who her least favorite team to play was, she gave another great answer, saying, “Dee-Mack, because… they’re Dee-Mack.” When we asked her where she thinks she will place this year, she said, “Hopefully, state.” The last question we asked her was, “Would you be interested in playing volleyball later in your life?” She had a good answer, saying, “I’m doing it in high school, but not in college.”
