What’s your worst injury?
We asked 7th graders and three staff members what their worst injury was. Here’s what they answered:
– When we asked Kaitlyn Johnson, she quickly answered, “none.”
– When we asked Olivia, she had to think for a moment but then said, “a broken wrist.”
– When we asked Staley Sancken, she said, “I fell off my bike and scraped all the skin off my elbow.”
– When we asked Bristol Weigand, she was very excited to answer and said, “I sprained my wrist.”
– When we asked Claire, she had to think for a second but then said, “I ran down a rock wall, flipped in the air, and landed on my neck.”
– When we asked Eva Knapp, she said, “breaking my collarbone.”
– When we asked Drake, he had to think about it but then said, “sprained ankle.”
– When we asked Braelyn, she quickly said, “breaking my collarbone.”
– When we asked Isabella Williams, she answered right away, “spraining my wrist.”
– When we asked Shelby Krutke, she said, “I slammed my finger in a door.”
– When we asked Wyatt Martin, he quickly said, “concussion.”
– When we asked Mya Wettstein, she quickly said, “I cracked my head open when thrown into a wall.”
– Mr. Heider quickly answered, “I broke my collarbone.”
– Mrs. Shipley was sure of her answer and right away she said, “I broke my arm while sledding.”
– Mrs. Wherley said right away, “I ruptured a disc in my back picking up a puppy.”
