I asked each of the 8th grade teachers what they are most excited for on their field trip coming up Friday. Here were their answers:

Looking forward to: “I’m most excited about seeing students in a new setting.”
Not looking forward to: “And there’s nothing I’m not looking forward to.”
Mr. Schaidle
Looking forward to: “I’m most excited about a beautiful bus ride to downtown Peoria.”
Not looking forward to: “I’m least excited about having to ride a bus again.”
Mr. Trout
Looking forward to: “Seeing kids who never thought they would like a certain career find out that the career is not what they thought it would be.”
Not looking forward to: “Students who don’t take the opportunity to learn about other career options seriously.”
Mrs. Hobbs
Looking forward to: “I am excited for people to participate in the demonstrations and do hands-on activities.”
Not looking forward to: “Coming back to school and teaching the rest of the day.”
Mr. Gundy
Looking forward to: “I’m excited to watch students’ minds open to different career opportunities.
Not looking forward to: “I am least looking forward to the potential of students not representing Eureka well.”
