Cross country is a very interactive sport. I interviewed a few students who are in XC and Mrs. Bishop. This is Mrs. Bishop’s 4th year coaching, and for the past 3 years, Mrs. Hoffman has been her assistant coach. Now it’s Ms. Sancken. The cross country team went to state for the girls last year, and Davin Dingledine went to state as an individual. Mrs. Bishop was not a runner when she was younger. She didn’t start running until she was in college. There are 38 students in cross country this year, and they practice normally 4 to 5 days a week, but they have a meet almost every single week!
