I’m sure those of you who aren’t in scholastic bowl are wondering what scholastic bowl is like, and what they do in it. You may even be interested in trying it next season. Well, whether you want to do scholastic bowl or not, you are about to have a better idea of what it is like. We interviewed some kids who are in scholastic bowl about how they like it, so here are there answers:

Landon Still:

Q- What is your favorite part about scholastic bowl?

A- “The end of year party.” 

Q- What is the hardest question you’ve been asked?

A- “Math.” 

Q- What is the easiest question you have ever had to answer?

A- “Who was the first vice president of the US.” 

Q- How did the last season of Scholastic Bowl go?

A- “Good. We were one match away from regionals.”

Q- Who/What got you interested in Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Zeke Zobrest got me into it.” 

Q- Why did you decide to do Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Because It seemed fun.”

Q-  When did you first start doing Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Last year.” 

Q-  What is your least favorite part about Scholastic Bowl?

A- “When T Swizzel is in charge.”

Caleb Minger:

Q- What is your favorite part about scholastic bowl?

A- “Geography”

Q- What is the hardest question you’ve been asked?

A- “Language arts.”

Q- What is the easiest question you have ever had to answer?

A- “Probably arts and drama.” 

Q- How did the last season of Scholastic Bowl go?

A- “It was an even split.” 

Q- Who/What got you interested in Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Trivia nights.”

Q- Why did you decide to do Scholastic Bowl?

 A- “Some of my friends were doing it.” 

Q- When did you first start doing Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Last year around ealy in November.” 

Q- What is your least favorite part about Scholastic Bowl?

A- “When the other team answers the question wrong and someone on your team buzzes before the question is done.”

Simon Lynch:

 Q- What is your favorite part about scholastic bowl?

A- “Competition.” 

Q- What is the hardest question you’ve been asked?

 A- “Probably 10 second trigonometry.” 

Q- What is the easiest question you have ever had to answer?

 A- “Pop culture.” 

Q- How did the last season of Scholastic Bowl go?

 A- “It started well, but ended neutral.” 

Q- Who/What got you interested in Scholastic Bowl?

 A- “Probably my friends.” 

Q- Why did you decide to do Scholastic Bowl?

 A- “It was because I found an extra-curricular that I was interested in.” 

Q- When did you first start doing Scholastic Bowl?

 A- “Um, the 1st lunch practice last year.” 

Q- What is your least favorite part about Scholastic Bowl?

 A- “The tension between the 2 teams.”

Rex Demham:

Q- What is your favorite part about scholastic bowl?

A- “Because I like to learn stuff.” 

Q- What is the hardest question you’ve been asked?

A- “Any questions about novels.” 

Q- What is the easiest question you have ever had to answer?

A- “Probably simple math equations.” 

Q- How did the last season of Scholastic Bowl go?

A- “Decent, we got to sectionals or regionals, our record was not the best, but it’s about having fun.” 

Q- Who/What got you interested in Scholastic Bowl?

A- “My parents got me a lot of trivia stuff.” 

Q- Why did you decide to do Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Because I knew I was smart enough, and it sounded fun.” 

Q- When did you first start doing Scholastic Bowl?

A- “Last year during lunch and recess.” 

Q- What is your least favorite part about Scholastic Bowl?

A- “When they ask questions that make no sense.”
