A Croc is a lightweight, slip-on shoe that you see all around Eureka Middle School. Crocs were first created in 2002 in Boulder, Colorado by Lyndon Hansen, Scott Seamans, and George Boedecker. They’re made from a foam material called Croslite.
Crocs may have little to no nutritional value—but still, I don’t know about you, I’d kind of want to eat one just to see what it tastes like. Which is why we asked people all over EMS the big question: Would you eat a Croc?
Luke Casey:
“I would most certainly eat a Croc because it would be sooo yummy yummy in my tummy, and it would be so juicy and tasteful. Crocs are a 10/10 comfort, but imagine it in your mouth—so yummy! One last thing, Crocs are the best shoe and the best FOOD. Don’t forget to eat them!”
Mrs. Burnham:
“Absolutely not. Ugliest shoes ever, so they won’t be tasty!”
Deklyn McCarrey:
“I sure would! Crocs are the yummiest snack EVER. I love eating—especially CROCS. I don’t know what Mrs. Burnham was talking about. Crocs are beautiful! They look GREAT!”
Austin Logan:
“No, because they’re shoes. Shoes are not yummy.”
Mrs. Fitz:
“No, because it would taste disgusting. It would take a lot of chewing, which would hurt my jaw, it would make my teeth squeak (which is cringy), and it would give me a huge stomachache.”
Mrs. Worner:
“No, because I feel like it would do more harm than good.”
Trevor Schrock:
“I would eat a Croc because it is very nutritious and it looks like it would taste yummy yummy in my tummy.”
Brady Leman:
“Yes, because it would probably taste good.”
Mylee Kent:
“No, because it sounds gross.”
Jaxon James:
“Yes, because it would probably taste like chicken—and I love me some chicken.”
