The NFL Super Bowl is a championship game between two teams from different conferences, who are the best of the best. The College National Championship (the “Natty”) is when the two best college teams play against each other in a high-stakes football game.
We asked kids which one they’d pick: the Natty or the Super Bowl. Here’s what they said:
-
Brynley Schieler said, “I like both, but I would say the Super Bowl because it’s a lot more nerve-racking, and not all college players are as good as the NFL players.”
-
Deklyn McCarrey said, “You can go both ways with this question, but in my opinion it is the Natty because there are a lot more colleges that compete to win the trophy.”
-
Kinleigh Clements said, “DEFINITELY the Super Bowl, because more people show up, it brings in more excitement, plus the NFL has professional talent, whereas college has newbies!”
-
Elsie Cearlock said, “Super Bowl, ’cuz I don’t normally watch college football unless my dad has it on.”
-
Nella Stoller said, “Super Bowl, because you can eat lots of food and watch with friends and family and have parties for it and stuff.”
-
Brady Leman said, “College Football Natty, ’cuz it’s more entertaining.”
-
Rome Leman said, “Super Bowl, because it’s fun to watch with friends.”
-
Zola Ahlers said, “Super Bowl, because it’s just better.”
As you can tell from the interviews, everyone has different opinions—but most people leaned toward the Super Bowl.
