Hello EMS!
This week we’re doing Hornet Spotlights! We chose Ezra Wettstein for our Hornet Spotlight. He is a new 5th grader here at Eureka, and we are excited to get to know him better. We started with some basic questions and then moved on to more interesting ones. Let’s see what Ezra had to say!
What is your favorite animal, and why?
My favorite animal is a honey badger because it has folded ears to protect it from bee stings. Cool!
What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is green because it is the color of the Eureka Hornets. Very good choice!
What are your hobbies?
My favorite hobbies are wrestling and football because you’re very active.
If you could choose one book to read again without knowing the plot, what would it be?
If I could read a book again without knowing the plot, it would be Harry Potter because it is very interesting. Amazing!
If you could have one thing for free, what would it be, and why?
If I could have one thing for free, it would be a house because you need shelter to live, and also houses are expensive. True!
What is your dream breakfast?
My dream breakfast would be twelve pancakes stacked on top of each other with blueberries and a slice of butter on top. Wow!
What is your favorite quote?
My favorite quote is “Make sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm,” by Abraham Lincoln. I like it because it’s very inspiring.
If you could only have a reptile as a pet, would you have one, or would you just not have a pet? If you had one, what kind of reptile would it be?
If I had to have a reptile, it would be a chameleon because it can change colors.
Would you rather be able to breathe underwater or fly?
I would fly because if I went deep underwater, it would be creepy.
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
My favorite ice cream flavor is vanilla because I like to keep it simple. Delicious!
