This week we are doing Hornet Spotlights again! We chose to interview Melody Kuntz, a 7th grader here at Eureka. We started the interview off with some simple questions, and then moved on to more interesting ones. Let’s go!
What is your favorite animal, and why?
Melody says, “My favorite animal is a cat because I have plenty of them at home and play with them all the time.” Cats are super cute!
What is your favorite color?
“My favorite color is light pink.” Very pretty!
What are your hobbies?
Melody has some fun ones! She answered, “I like to read, play golf, and spend time with my friends.”
If you could choose one book to read again without knowing the plot, what would it be?
She had a great choice! “If I were to read a book again without knowing the plot, I would probably read the book Wonder.”
If you could have one thing for free, what would it be, and why?
“If I could have one thing for free, I would probably get a book that I’ve wanted to read for a while: Greenwild: The Forest in the Sky.”
What is your dream breakfast?
“My dream breakfast would be pancakes and waffles with syrup and a side of bacon and fruit.” Delicious!
What is your favorite quote?
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
If you could only have a reptile as a pet, would you have one, or would you just not have a pet? If you had one, what kind of reptile would it be?
“I don’t really like reptiles, but I would like to have a pet. I would choose a turtle because they’re harmless and cute.”
Would you rather be able to breathe underwater or fly?
“I would rather be able to breathe underwater because it would be cool to see all the coral and pretty sights in the ocean.”
What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
“My favorite ice cream flavor is cookie dough.” Yum!!
