Hello EMS! For this “Day in the Life,” I asked the amazing Rome Leman! Rome is a 7th grader here at EMS. Let’s take a peek inside her life!
She starts her morning by waking up at 6:15 to do her skincare, curl her hair, and more. After that, she brushes her teeth and flosses, then heads off to annoy her brothers! Around 7:00, she gathers her things for cross country, volleyball, and other activities. Before that, she makes sure everything is in her binder and grabs two snacks for class. Afterward, she makes her lunch and fills her water bottle.
At 7:40, the bus picks her up—or sometimes her brother drives her to school. When she arrives, she puts her things away in her locker and heads to morning announcements. After that, she goes to her morning classes and then enjoys lunch. In the afternoon, Rome goes to chorus and PE. To finish her school day, she heads to study hall.
When she gets home, she practices cross country or volleyball—or she might have a cross country meet. After that, she takes a shower, brushes her teeth, and finally, after a long day, goes to bed.
And that was a day in the life of Rome Leman. Have a great week!
