Ms. Worner is a Literature, Grammar, and Journalism teacher. She is 38, and her classroom is in the learning center, next to Mrs. Weaver’s room. She is very nice, and you would love to have her as a teacher.
I don’t know much about her, so I asked what she does every day at school.
How does Ms. Worner start her morning?
“I wake up at 5:30 in the morning and do a quick workout. Then I get ready for work and make sure my two kids are getting ready for school. I also have to take my dog, Diggy, who is an English Doodle, outside—but he likes to sleep in a little bit. I take my kids to my mom’s house because I have to be at work before they need to go to school. I usually stop at Four30 Scones to grab a coffee since I haven’t gotten into the routine of making my own yet.”
A peek into Ms. Worner’s day
“I get to school around 7:45 and start getting ready for the day. I teach first through fifth hours and then have lunch with the 7th- and 8th-grade teachers. After that, I have a break during 7th hour. I teach Journalism 8th hour and then supervise MEGA EQUIP in the cafeteria during 9th hour.”
After school
“I leave for the day at 3:30 and head home to see my kids. My boys usually play outside while I get dinner ready, and then we eat. We like to take walks after dinner. Before bed, we read books together, and then it’s lights out for the little ones! I usually read after they go to bed, and then I head to bed myself at 9:30 so I’m ready to start it all over again the next day.”
