Mr. Bellini is a PE teacher here at Eureka Middle School, and his wife, Mrs. Bellini, also works at the middle school as a 7th-grade science teacher. Today I asked both Mr. and Mrs. Bellini what a day in their life looks like. Here’s what they had to say!
First up: Mr. Bellini
The first thing Mr. Bellini does when he wakes up is feed his corgi, Pancake. After that, he heads to work at 8:00 in the morning.
-
1st hour: 6th grade PE
-
2nd hour: 5th grade PE
-
3rd hour: Prep period
-
4th hour: Lunch (until 11:26)
-
Then: Helps with recess for two hours
-
Afternoon: 7th and 8th grade PE/Health
When he gets home, he plays with Pancake and feeds her again. In the evenings, Mr. B and Mrs. B usually sit outside by their pool if the weather is nice. After that, it’s bedtime. That’s a day in the life of Mr. Bellini!
Next: Mrs. Bellini
Mrs. Bellini starts her day at 5:45 by taking care of Pancake. At 6:30, she gets her coffee IMMEDIATELY (her words!), then journals until 7:00, when she starts getting ready for school. She leaves at 7:45.
From 8:00 to 12:15, she teaches her AMAZING 7th graders. Then, from 12:15 to 1:00, she heads home to take care of Pancake and eat lunch. After that, from 1:00 to 3:30, she goes back to school to help with afternoon classes and EQUIPT.
She usually gets home around 4:00. What happens next just depends on the day, the weather, and her energy level. Some days she bakes or decorates sugar cookies, cooks dinner, or does chores like dishes and laundry. Other days she watches NFL or college football, reads a book, catches up with friends, binge-watches a series, takes a walk, or swims in the pool.
As you can see, Mr. and Mrs. Bellini always have a VERY busy day!
