Hello EMS!
This week’s Teacher Hornet Spotlight is Mrs. Baner! She is a 5th grade Language Arts teacher here at EMS. Let’s see what she had to say when we asked her some questions!
1. What is your favorite animal?
She said she has a tie between a tiger and a lemur. Very unique animals!
2. What is your favorite class?
“Reading! Of course!”
3. Do you have any siblings?
She has one younger brother named Andrew.
4. Do you like to read?
“Yes! My favorite series is Harry Potter.”
5. What is your favorite quote?
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
6. What are you most excited about in this upcoming year, and why?
“I am excited to get to know a whole new group of kids, but still keep up with mine from the past 2 years!”
7. If you could choose one thing to eat for lunch, what would it be?
“It would probably be pizza.” (Delicious!)
8. What is your dream pet, and why?
“I’ve wanted a tiger as a pet ever since I watched Aladdin as a kid.” (Cool!)
9. If you could live anywhere, where would you live? Why would you choose to live there?
“Somewhere warmer than here (I don’t like being cold), but I would have to take my whole family with me.”
10. What is your favorite TV show or movie?
“I really like the TV shows Friends and Gilmore Girls.”
