Mrs. Turner is a new art teacher. I am interviewing her because nobody really knows much about her.
First, I asked her what her favorite color was, and she said, “I like phthalo green because it is a rich, cold, dark color that makes me think of lush plants.”
Next, I asked her what three things she would bring if she were stranded on a deserted island. She said, “A water purifier, a tackle box, and a tent.”
Then, I wondered what her favorite food was, and she said, “I love banh mi sandwiches because they are complex.” Just so you know, banh mi sandwiches are a Vietnamese sandwich typically made with a crispy baguette and a variety of meats.
I asked her what her favorite subject was, and she said, “Art, so I can be creating, forever learning, and problem-solving.”
I then wondered what her favorite sport to watch was, and she said a sport I had never heard of: “Red Bull Soapbox Races, Physical 100.”
Next, I asked her what her favorite book was, and she said, “The Lord of the Rings series because it is the standard of fantasy.”
I then asked her if she could have a superpower, what it would be, and she answered, “Shapeshifting into animals because adaptability to any situation would be awesome.”
Next, I wondered what her favorite ice cream flavor was, and she said, “Grasshopper, which has mint ice cream with Oreos and brownie bits in it.”
I then asked her what her favorite day of the week was, and she said, “Friday is my family’s movie night, so it’s Friday.”
Lastly, I asked her what her favorite board game was, and she said, “Bang, because it’s a fun Wild West-themed game, and it can be very competitive.”
