This week, for the 8th-grade Hornet Spotlight, I interviewed Tenley Prather, a member of the softball, cheer, track, and volleyball teams. She also participates in chorus. I asked her some questions about herself, her hobbies, family, and pets. Here are some of her answers.
The first topic I asked her about was school. I asked what her favorite subject is, and she responded, “ELA.” Another school-related question I asked was about her favorite teacher. She said, “Mrs. Hobbs,” which makes sense since ELA is her favorite subject. She also added, “and Mr. Trout.”
Next, I asked her about sports, specifically which one was her favorite. Since she plays multiple sports for the school, I was curious about her answer. She responded, “Cheer.”
The next set of questions focused on her hobbies and preferences. First, I asked about her favorite food, and she replied, “Fruit.” I also asked about her favorite color, to which she answered, “Purple.” Another fun question I asked was, “If you could have any superpower, what would it be?” She said, “My superpower would be to be super speedy.”
The final set of questions was about her family. Tenley shared that she has one sibling—an older sister. She also mentioned that she has one pet, a dog, which makes sense because earlier in the interview, she said her favorite animal is a dog.
