Now that spring is here the Track Season is around the corner with practice just starting. This article is to see plenty of track athletes with their goals and events they’re going to do.
Jadon Bunting – “I want to make it to state, and I’m gonna run 400×2, 400×4, and long jump.”
Carson Bucher – “I want to get better at shot put, and I’m gonna do Shot and Discus.”
Ezra Dohner “My goals this season is to get faster and strong, and I’m gonna do high jump, 400×2, and 400×4.”
Hunter Wurmnest “I want to get in shape, and push myself to the best of my ability, and I’m gonna do Shot and Discus.”
Colin Risk”To get better and faster and have more stamina for soccer, and I’m gonna do the 400m and 400×4.”
Alex Shrock “The reason I’m doing track is because it’s conditioning for hockey and good for stamina, and I’m gonna do the 400×4 and 200m.”
Ben Shrock “To get faster and jump higher, and overall have better fitness, and I’m gonna do 100m and high jump.”
Nohl Blunier – “I’m doing 4 by 200 and 4 by 400. i want to go to state.”
Levi Royer – “goal make it to state in long jump and i do 100 meter dash 110m hurdles 4 by 100 and long jump.”
Max Beard – “Shot put and to get state this year”
Max Brown – “I am doing the 100 meter dash and I plan on getting better at running for myself and for other sports I play. One other sport I want to get better at sprinting at is baseball. You need to be able to steal fast so I want to be able to do that better. That is my goal: getting better at running for other sports I play.”
Abram Funderburk – “My goal is to go to sectionals.”
Dierks Dingledine – “win a race and do both 400 and 800.”
Drake Arnold – “My events in track are Shotput and Discus. I think that my main goal is just to beat my PR from last year, and keep getting better meet after meet.”
