For the 5th Grade Hornet Spotlight, I interviewed Axle Martin. He’s like the average 5th-grade boy—he loves sports, being outside, and many other things. So, if you want to learn more about Axle and his hobbies and interests, read on! I asked him a couple of questions about the things he’s passionate about, as well as about the new year and what it has brought for him.
The first question I asked him was what his New Year’s resolution was. He responded, “I think working towards my goal of blocking 5 goals in one soccer game,” since he plays goalie on his soccer team.
Another question I asked was about his hobbies. He quickly replied, “I like to play football, soccer, video games, and I also like playing outside.”
I also asked him what he was passionate about. He said, “I’m passionate about becoming an NFL kicker or a professional soccer player, and also the Eagles.” This makes sense, considering how much he loves wearing all of his favorite team’s apparel, like the Eagles.
The final question I asked him was, if he could live anywhere, where would it be? After a second of thought, he said, “I would like to live in either Florida or in England.”
