Hornet Spotlight – Griffin Topping

Griffin Topping is a 7th grader at Eureka Middle School. He has lived in Eureka for all but a couple of months of his life. His dream vacation is in Hawaii to explore the Pacific Ocean. Griffin really likes birds and enjoys the ones in his backyard, including Cardinals, Blue Jays, Robins, and Goldfinches. His favorite book genre is action books. Griffin’s favorite vacation that he has been on is to Destin because it felt good, and he likes being there. He wants to go back to Destin if he has the chance. His favorite ice cream flavor is cookie dough. He has two dogs and two cats. The dogs’ names are Taco and Milo, and the cats’ names are Sprinkles and Harold. He doesn’t have a preference for clothing brands. Griffin likes watching the Bradley Braves play basketball with his mom and grandpa. He is sometimes unsure about whether or not he wants to go to a Bradley game. His favorite animal is a bird because he is interested in them. He isn’t sure if he has any hidden talents. He enjoys relaxing on his couch with his family.
