Rory O’Hanlon is a fun and kind 7th grader who attends Eureka Middle School. We asked him about his average day as a student, and here’s what he shared:
First, when Rory gets up, he gets dressed and eats breakfast. His usual breakfast is sweet potatoes. After he eats, he packs his bag for school. He heads off to school and hangs out with Mrs. Allstat. He plays the drums and triangle and claims he is better at the triangle than Mrs. Allstat.
During lunchtime, he eats hot dogs, applesauce, a cookie, and a Capri Sun. During recess, he plays paddleball with his friends. He is also a part of the chorus, and his favorite song is Wade in the Water.
After school, he goes home with his mom and has chips as an after-school snack. At home, he likes to chill and will help with some chores around the house, even though he doesn’t like helping with chores or cooking. He also enjoys taking walks with his family on the Morton trails.
During dinner, he usually eats a baked potato and chicken fries. For dessert, he gets a cookie from his mom. When he’s getting ready for bed, he packs his lunch for the next day, takes a bath, and puts on his pajamas.
This is what an average day in the life of Rory typically looks like.
