We asked Hudson Leman, Colin Risk, and Nohl Blunier about their favorite Hobbies. Here’s what they said.
What Is your favorite hobby?
Hudson: Fishing or running, mainly because the outdoors are nice.
Colin: Soccer
Nohl: Basketball
Why is this your favorite hobby?
Hudson: I like to fish because of the sport and the fun, and trying to catch an even bigger, it’s like gambling. For running, it’s fun to see all the things and listen to music, I also like to run when there is a sunrise or sunset because of the beauty. Also, both fishing and running are calming.
Colin: It is my favorite hobby because I have played it since I was a kid and it is fun.
Nohl: It’s fun to play
When did it become your favorite hobby?
Hudson: Fishing, I’ve fished since I was little, I just always have loved it. For running, it was 2 years ago, my first XC season, that’s when I realized running can be fun.
Colin: It became my hobby a few years ago.
Nohl: Last year
Has your hobby changed since 5 years ago?
Hudson: Yes, I started fishing a lot more in 7th grade, mainly because I was allowed to go by myself, also getting new equipment. Running has never been something I liked doing up until my first XC season, when I learned I could actually run and have fun doing it. I learned that it isn’t a punishment, but actually something fun.
Colin: No, it has been my favorite hobby for a long time.
Nohl: I’ve gotten a lot better.
What would you like to buy for your hobby?
Hudson: You could make a list about a mile long for all the stuff I want for fishing, but right now I want a folding kayak so I can fish off it. For running I don’t need much, the running shoes I have are perfect, but I would like a running watch and you can never have enough funny headbands to wear.
Colin: I want to buy a new soccer ball because mine are getting old.
Nohl: Basketball shoes.
