The volleyball season has just begun, and the girls have been ready to play for a long time. They started off the season with 4 straight wins. Since then, they have been pretty solid with a current record of 8 wins and 3 losses. They have fun being together and are ready to enjoy themselves while getting better.
We asked them what they are looking forward to this season. Bentley Brace said, “I am looking forward to being with my teammates.” Dalyah Knapp said she was really looking forward to hanging out with her friends. Sage Edwards also said she was looking forward to hanging out with friends. Harper Johnson, Bristol Hirstein, and Bryn Wilson all said they were looking forward to being with teammates.
When most of the team is happy to be around friends and teammates, it creates good team chemistry. They will need this if they want to make it far in the season and do well in the playoffs. Good team chemistry is also needed to become close with your teammates, which will lead to better play in-game. Hopefully, they can make a good postseason run and maybe even make it to state. For this to happen, they will need to practice a lot, build friendships, and get used to playing together as a group during games. All of this will take practice and discipline. The volleyball team will have a fun season ahead. We hope you can find time to come watch some of their games.
