The eagles have had one of their best seasons ever and are about to play in the superbowl. The eagles have a great team with one of the best offensive lines in the league. They also have a former Heisman trophy winner in 2021. Believe it or not he’s only their number 2 wide receiver. Their main wide receiver is A.J Brown. He is one of the best wide receivers in the league. He was picked as the 51st pick by the Tennessee Titans. After three years of being with the Titans they traded him to the eagles where he became their number 1 wide receiver and carried them to the superbowl where they lost to the chiefs 35-38. Jalen Hurts was the 53rd overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has had outstanding stats in all of his years in the NFL. Lastly, we talk about Saquon Barkley. He was drafted in 2018 as the 2nd overall pick by the New York Giants. He was basically the whole team and the giants decided to drop him so they could afford their new quarterback. The Eagles picked him up as a replacement for Miles Sanders who got dropped by the Eagles and picked up as a backup for the Panthers. After their superbowl loss the eagles had a decent season and made it to the playoffs again. The fans had high hopes but they lost to the Buccaneers 31-9. Now that they have Saquon on their team they have a really good quarterback, 2 very good wide receivers, and an insane running back. Now the eagles are playing in the superbowl. The question is is Saquon Barkley carrying the eagles. Saquon Barkley has attempted 345 rushes and averaging 5.8 yards a carry. He also has 33 receptions and 13 touchdowns. His most impressive stat is a total of 2,005 yards. This makes him in the top 10 for most rush yards in a season by a running back. These are very impressive stats making him the best this season and one of the best running backs ever.
