On July 10th 2024, a baby Pygmy hippo was born in Thailand named Moo Deng. Then in September Moo Deng began to take over the internet because of how cute she was. Then on October 30th 2024 Haggis the Hippo was born. This article is going to be talking about both of them, and their personalities. Moo Deng’s name translates to “Bouncy pork.” Moo deng is a “diva” she likes to bite the zoo keepers and she screams a lot. Though she can be restless she is still the cutest pygmy hippo ever. Or is she. Haggis!!! Haggis is the new star trying to take all of Moo Deng’s fame. Haggis’s parents are named Otto and Gloria. Haggis and Moo Deng are Both pygmy hippos. Their species are endangered which is sad. But now the question is Who’s Better? I asked a few students who they think is better.

Parker Bishop: Moo Deng because that’s the only one I’ve heard of.
Kallen Brown: Moo Deng because she’s biting the knee.
Max Beard: Moo Deng because small hippo.
Jordan Schulz: Moo Deng because she kind of looks like a gorilla and gorillas are strong and so she might me strong.
Abram Funderburk: Moo Deng because Moo Deng is my pride and joy.
