One of the biggest debates around the holiday season is when to start listening to Christmas music. Somehow, this topic can get really heated. Some people like to start listening to it the day after Halloween, while others prefer to wait until after Thanksgiving. We interviewed some kids around EMS to see what they think.
Responses:
- Mrs. Worner: “After Thanksgiving because it makes it more special.”
- Ms. Haggerty: “Before Thanksgiving because the Christmas season starts on November 1st.”
- Mrs. Weaver: “After Thanksgiving because I’ll get sick of the music before that.”
- Abram Funderburk: “After Thanksgiving because you need to focus on Thanksgiving first; before Thanksgiving, you focus on Christmas.”
- Max Beard: “All the time because Christmas is forever.”
- Jordan Schulz: “After Thanksgiving because Skibiti toilet.” (This seems like a humorous or inside joke. If you want to keep it, that’s fine!)
- Brynna Musselman: “Any time in November.”
- Katie Ulrich: “Before Thanksgiving because Thanksgiving is a stepping stone to Christmas.”
- Jadon Bunting: “After Thanksgiving because I want to make Thanksgiving a bit more special.”
