Thanksgiving is one of the most popular holidays in the United States. Many families and friends gather to celebrate and enjoy this holiday. This year, Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024. People come together to eat delicious food, watch football, and have a good time. With Thanksgiving approaching, we asked some students, “Would you rather have a Thanksgiving without appetizers or without dessert?”
Abram Funderburk: “Without appetizers because I like dessert, and I like sugary snacks.”
Drew Sauder: “Without appetizers because we usually don’t have appetizers, and dessert is the best part.”
Alex Schrock: “Without appetizers because desserts are too good.”
Logan Rittenhouse: “Without appetizers because you won’t have room for ham. Ham is the best thing on Thanksgiving, and dessert is cool.”
Ethan Otto: “Without dessert because I’m not fat.”
Luke Spangler: “Without appetizers because there are many choices.”
Beni Schrock: “Without dessert because there aren’t a lot of Thanksgiving desserts.”
Clayton McClure: “Without dessert because dessert is usually pies, and appetizers can be different things.”
Max Brown: “Without appetizers because I love cream puffs.”
Forrest Henry: “Without desserts because my family doesn’t do dessert on Thanksgiving.”
