Mrs. Blunier is a new teacher here at EMS this year, and we wanted to interview her about some of her opinions and other various questions.
- Why did you choose to be a teacher?
She’s wanted to be a teacher since a kid
- Did you have a past job? (If so, what was it?)
No.
- What is a hobby you like other than teaching?
Reading.
- What inspired you to teach?
She wants to make a difference and be like some great teachers she had as a kid.
- Where did you hear about the position/job?
She was teaching at Davenport and got an email saying that the middle school needed a sixth-grade science teacher.
- Why science?
Science is the best subject, as it teaches about the world around us. We then asked her questions not related to teaching
- What is a hobby you have reading

- Do you have any pets?
A dog, a turtle, and two cats. She wants to get more.
- What is the best Christmas/birthday present you have ever received?
A Barbie dream car.
- When do you put up Christmas decorations?
The day after Thanksgiving.
