We researched why people see different colors in the same image, and this is why: People perceive different colors in the same image due to variations in their individual cone cells in the retina, which are responsible for detecting color. These differences in cone cells lead to varying interpretations of the light hitting the eye. Additionally, factors such as lighting conditions, past experiences, and eye health issues like color blindness can further influence perception. Essentially, “color is in the eye of the beholder,” shaped by both biological and cognitive differences.
