We asked the 5th and 7th grade teachers the following “Would You Rather” question:
Would you rather have “Baby Shark” stuck in your head permanently, or have the song “Gummy Bear” stuck in your head? Why?
Mrs. Anderson: “Baby Shark, because it’s catchy and the Gummy Bear song is annoying.”
Mrs. Baner: “Baby Shark, more verses; Gummy Bear is repetitive.”
Mrs. Bishop: “Baby Shark, because it brings back memories from her childhood.”
Mrs. Rocke: “Gummy Bear; it’s good.”
Mrs. Wherley: “Baby Shark, because it has some good memories with her grandkid.”
Mrs. Weaver: “Gummy Bear, because she has kids and has heard enough of Baby Shark.”
Mrs. Worner: “Gummy Bear, because she can sing it in a weird voice.”
Mrs. Bellini: “It would have to be Baby Shark. As soon as I heard your question, I started singing it in my head. Plus, I don’t know the Gummy Bear song.”
Mr. Heider: “Baby Shark, because he already knows it.”
Mrs. Ogg: “Baby Shark, because she sings it with her grandkids.”
