We asked students on the 5th-7th about what they enjoy about middle school and what they miss about grade school here is what they said.
Brynley Schieler umm, “Nothing because middle school is better. My favorite thing about middle school is that you can join Eureka sports because I like playing sports.”
Olsen Axelson, “Switching classes, Because I get a different teacher every hour. I don’t miss anything.”
Roland Devall, “You’re not with little kids because they are annoying. I don’t miss anything.”
Able Burnham, “Learning things because I like to learn new things. Nothing else will be more fun than because the teachers are cool.”
Kimberly Sally, “Freedom because it’s better than having none. Nothing because we had no freedom.”
Sam Vaughan, “I miss 2 recesses because more time to play outside is fun. And switching classes because I don’t like the teachers.”
Hutch Gerst, “I don’t miss anything because it’s boring. My favorite thing about middle school is that we get to switch classes.”
Damien Porter, “The teachers because they were nice and cool, It’s bigger you get to switch classes.”
Davis Nichols, “I like that you don’t have to stay in the same class all day because it is boring staying in the same class. I miss not having to move around as much at Meet the Teacher Day.”
