We interviewed Paisley Blunier, a 6th grader at Eureka Middle School. Read on to learn more about Paisley!
1. Who do you look up to and why?
I look up to my brothers (Jack and Nohl) and my sister (Elle). They all do the same things I do, like basketball and volleyball, and they help me get better.
2. What is your favorite TV show and why?
I love the TV shows Alexa and Katie and Greenhouse Academy. They’re so interesting and cool!
3. Are you a night owl or an early bird?
I’m actually kind of both. I can stay up super late but also wake up and feel great—not really tired.
4. What is your favorite drink and why?
I love Dr Pepper! My sister (Elle) was drinking it, and I tried it—it was so good! I just love pop, and that one tastes the best to me.
5. What is your favorite season and why?
I love fall. It’s around my birthday, and we get to start wearing cozy clothes. I love that.
6. What do you want to be when you grow up and why?
I would love to play volleyball somewhere, but I’m not sure about that. I’d also love to be a teacher—I love little kids and hanging out with them.
7. What is one job you would never want to do and why?
I would never want to do road construction. It just seems gross and hot.
8. What has been your favorite field trip so far, and why?
My favorite field trip was to the Shedd Aquarium. It was so cool and fun! I loved the charter bus and hanging out with my friends there.
9. What is your favorite thing about fall and why?
My birthday is in the fall, and it’s getting colder, so I can have more hot chocolate—and I love that!
10. What is your favorite thing to do in school and why?
I love playing volleyball! Whenever I can, I play during recess, P.E., morning recess, or Fun Fridays. I just love playing it.
